Listening to Maritime Noon on CBC radio, they had a feature on a
milling group in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A group that fulls wool blankets
while they sing Gaelic songs. The piece gave the impression that they were
in it more for the singing then the fibre content, but it’s always hard to
tell from a five minute broadcast.
Also heard the intro to Richardsons Roundup on CBC, they’ll have a report
about lambing from a regular contributing sheppardess today. Wednesday May
What a wonderful treat for this overcast spring day.
