On the CBC radio program Socket today they featured two fibre artists. The first, Marianne Corless uses a seringe to extrude acrylic paint to make her own yarn, and then knits it into baby booties.

The second, Arounna Khounnoraj, crochets sculptures using rice paper. You can find the links to their sites here…


We’re the first on the continent to hear most of these programs, so you may even be able to catch the broadcast using the links on the CBC website.
